Hello, I am unsure of what to do with my banana plant. I had it in the ground last summer and have since kept it overwintered potted up in my greenhouse. I was getting ready to move it outside this week when i noticed this today!:08:

Should I still plant it outside after the flower is done coming out or should I just let it fruit in the pot?

Leave it in the pot.. On another note where did you get your Goldfinger?, cause it looks pretty short for one.. Just saying (http://www.bananas.org/f2/fhia01-goldfinger-19573.html)..

Alright, thanks. I ordered it from going-bananas last summer as an FHIA-01 Goldfinger. I was surprised that it flowered at this height as well since the psuedostem is only about 5 ft. I did cut it back about a foot during our cold winter since a lot of it was rotting, maybe that has to do with it?
