I have a Basjoo about 3 feet, 3 sikkimensis about 1.5 feet, a Musa itinerans itinerans about 3 feet, and 4 Dwarf Orinoco about 1.5 feet. What height might I expect from some of these by first frost in October?

It all depends on soil prep, feeding, watering, sunlight, etc. But basically if you're saying your basjoos has 3 feet of pstem you should definitely be able to hit 8-10 feet of stem with good conditions. The others probably 4-7 feet. I dont have experience with the mekong giant but I dont think it would be too hard to hit 10' of stem on the mother plant.

Hi Brady,

I have grown basjoos now for three full seasons with all kinds of due care and attention,
but haven't even come close to that height. If you have achieved that kind of growth, I
would like to learn how you did it, in detail.

Thank you,,
Olaf
