Well long story short I have Deer in the yard.. 12 of them this morning.. Well they only mess with one tree so far that I care about and that would be a pecan tree.. I guess I will be spraying it w/ cayenne Pepper solution..

I will have a food pile for them come fall.. Crossbow in hand.. Good thing they stay outside the fence or I would be screwed.. :^)

I think they will have quite the surprise when they come back.. I think I mixed this on the super deluxe heat setting.. Hopefully they leave it alone.. :^)

I hope it works for you. I electric fenced, sprayed and netted but apparently white tailed Northern rats like it spicy.

I hear ya on the deer issue. I got ravaged last year hard. Ate 3 apple trees down to stumps. Also ate almost the entire veggie garden and that thing is pretty big. I have saved some habanero peppers in the freezer over winter, and have some scorpion peppers that just germed last week.

Shake that thing good --- good luck. I saved my last dried jolokias and will be applying powder all around. Bought a coffee grinder just for the very hot peppers. Couple of months I'll be loaded with mangos.

Are you trying to internally marinate them for the fall? It sounds like a good idea! You will have to let me know how they taste.

If I'm doing that I need to add some Onion powder to the mix.. :^)
If I'm doing that I need to add some Onion powder to the mix.. :^)And a bit of fresh rosemary. I have access to the darned strongest plant I've ever encountered. Recipe calls for a tsp of fresh? Dial down to 1/2 tsp or less with this one or people will object. Me, a lover of the herb, keeps it at 1 tsp and laughs at the weak. I wish I knew what variety I can tap and have tapped for starts. Killer stuff.

I once put my hand on the front end of the receiver of that thang when it was good and hot. Had a couple of round hole burns for a while. Hated having to set headspace and timing. Noticed that the new M2 E2 is designed with fixed hs and t. Earplugs help but you will hear ringing for a while anyway. Lost some sleep once on a forward firebase when I bunked near a Quad 50. No earplugs - couldn't hear for hours!!!
Thanks for the memories!!

Unfortunately even if that item was freely available for sale to civilians, just the price for the ammo consumed would be a lot more than what ever fruit or nuts were eaten by varmints.

I can buy .50 BMG last time I looked easier than I can .22LR. Just costs an awful lot more and I also do not own anything in such a caliber anyway. Imagine blasting through the tree rat, then the tree it was on, then a car or two on the street and through both sides of someone's house 2 miles away with just one slug. Kind of like using a broad sword to kill flies.

Outstanding! You left out the squirrel in the backyard of that house. And now picture a Quad 50 firing four 50's sequentially from a truck bed. It's an awesome sight at night.

There was a Peter Sellers movie also with Ringo Starr IIRC called the Magic Christian where point seem to be to really upset people. They have this one bird hunting scene where- well watch the short video clip:

I sprayed into my trees but it was more like I was spraying for fuzzy rats, and then one fell into a tree crook and I had to climb it on the ladder just to get it out.. Then found me a good snake (there are some them around) hanging by a banana I'm digging out. I think its watching over my grapes.. I can live w/ that.. :^)
