Wonder if it could help with hives? There's always something new bothering me. Scratch, scratch!

I know I really have to watch what I eat, and really have to stay away from all fast-food places.. Have to look @ the labels when I shop too.. There is something mayo & ranch dressing these days is as bad as me drinking Diet soda pop. I use Aveno Pomegranite ( I have to go to Albertsons to get it around here) soap to cool & draw that stuff out.. It works for me.. :^)

Much as I adore stopping at Mickey D's (Julia Child also loved their burgers), fast food is a relatively expensive treat I can't justify. Okay, sometimes I get something on the dollar menu but it offends me to pay $5 for a meal out so you can imagine how my heart races if I visit Applebee's or the ilk.

I don't buy a lot of snacks and rarely drink soda. I generally cut sugar back in recipes when feasible; my oatmeal cookies have 2/3rd the original quantity and are still too sweet IMO; they also have extra rolled oats. (I don't cut back on salt since usually the only place I'm getting it is in food I fix and I don't have HBP.)

But, unfortunately, even cooking from scratch involves purchasing ingredients processed by others; I don't make my own butter and cheese nor do I grind my own flour much less butcher my own poultry or beef. I honestly don't think you can win the war--just fight a few battles.

Okay, I've tried mixing that natural stuff up and it clogged my sprayer. Strain 2x? Probably need to use cheesecloth. I can't imagine it lasts in the fridge for a year. Maybe try using least amount of water necessary, freezing it as cubes than pop in a well-marked zippy bag so nobody mistakes it for a base to a spicy beverage?

I have tried to learn to recognize PI and the other plants that make people itch but, since I have no sensitivity to them, I haven't managed. (I was the company PI destroyer in OH.) I was warned about pepper trees here but, though I've been in a forest of saplings whacking them down, I've had no reaction whatsoever.

Fleas and mosquitoes light on me but don't bite/sting; I can literally grab and dispose of them. Now bees, wasps and yellow jackets hunt me out for a "kiss". (No, I do not wear perfume and use basically unscented products.)

I do itch like crazy after playing in tomato or fig plants and these no-see-ums in FL are really unpleasant.

All I know is my Pecan is growing leaves again and the deer are now eating bites out of peaches instead of eating my pecan tree leafless.. Its a 1st year peach so they can have all the fruit, so it can grow.. :^)

Its a 1st year peach so they can have all the fruit, so it can grow.. :^)I despise those white tailed rats. Forget those lists about "deer safe plants" because there are no plants they won't develop a taste for--just to spite you. We used repellent when I was landscaping. The really stinky one seemed to lose its effect (read: the rodents learned to hold their breath) so we switched to an herbal one that smelled a bit minty. Wish I'd paid attention to the names. (My coworker used something with "line" (I think) in the name; though she had her herbicide/pesticide license, she tried to very natural in her own gardens and she swore by it.) No, peeing on your lot line, tossing human hair and hanging bars of that Irish soap around will not deter them IME.

Deer get accustomed to feeding in the same areas; if you can discourage them now from visiting from yours and there's good pickings elsewhere they will migrate there.

My peaches are getting there too, especially my Red Havens, but I think I will be proactive before they find them tasty.. :^)

#11 I'm chiquita banana and I'm here to say , get rid of your teacher the easy way, put the banana peel on the floor and watch your teacher fly out the door. Yeah, I'm old. Funny while I was searching for this "ditty" I came across cases where people actually tried to sue for slip and falls on them. :ha:

And this. Can you really slip on an old banana peel? : Discovery Channel (http://www.discovery.com/tv-shows/mythbusters/mythbusters-database/slip-and-fall-on-banana-peel.htm)
