This is mostly from last year, but hope to see what I can accomplish w/ a very healthy corm.. I got this plant as a T/C in 2012 and sure didn't look like much (L). 062712.

Today I start w/ this, but with a healthy corm I hope to achieve similar results as seen in the previous picture, but you have to start somewhere. I begin with what you see below, 5 pups so far. I will reduce this to 3 and keep several late growers and these progress. I have to take into account winter here and medium pups can't hurt when it comes to insulation.. Yes, I had to cut my stem. The heat-tape dropped in one area and exposed the main stem to just enough damage. There was no flower in the stem I cut. :^)

Man that's some impressive growth! Do you know how tall that main stem was at the end of last year? I'm surprised there was no flower in that one. Hopefully these pups will really take off and reach for the sky soon.

For your shortened growing season plant Dwarf Namwah and you will have fruit. At 6 to 7 ft. Too much time spent growing a tall plant is what I'm dealing with on the Pisang Klotek mat.

Infact, I'm going to put one of them right here.. and dig this one out and put in between my Misi Luki in La.. The Question is I'm pretty sure taking this out whole is out of the question although it would be a feat, remarkable even if I lift it... I think if I get a good partial out I'd be Happy.. :^)
