Hello everyone,
Looks like I might have a spare sucker or two of Pisang Raja and SH 3640. I would like to do a trade, preferably local. (some pisang raja suckers might be too big for shipping)
I'm open to bananas, edibles, or ornamentals for zone 10A/9B. Send me a PM if interested. Below I've listed a few suggestions, but I'm very happy to consider other options if it looks like it will be a good fit for my yard. Thanks for looking. :08:
Edible Bananas
I really only have room for maybe one or two more bananas in the backyard, so I'm starting to get a little picky on the varieties. An AeAe would be awesome, but I'm probably pushing my luck on that one. I've heard good things about Chinni-champa.
Ornamentals
Wouldn't mind more gingers or heliconias. I would really like a travelers palm, but I don't see that one shipping easily. For ornamental bananas, Coccinea or Thai Gold might be fun to try.
Other Edibles
Whatever will actually grow in my zone! I would like to try some peppers I think, nothing too spicy, preferably not much hotter than a poblano.
