I planted a mystery banana about a year ago and lost the label. I forgot what it was and now i'm curious. The seed was about two centimetres in diameter and about half a centimetre to a centimetre thick. The plant has nearly 3 feet long leaves and is potted in a 50 gallon pot. There's a picture in my gallery of the plant with a rule stuck in the dirt for size reference. The plant is a year old and has been a nice bright green ever since it sprouted. It's never been tinted a certain colour on the stem or leaf. There are no stripes or spots on the plant either. The only thing I remember about the seed packet is that the packet either had a picture of pink bananas on it or it was just an ornamental banana just for the flower and foliage. There is a picture of the whole plant and a leaf upclose in my gallery. It's largest leaf is 3 feet long and the banana plant has been indoors it's whole life. Thank you guys for your help.
P.S. The plant suffered some root trauma when I separated it from another banana plant that I left in the same pot for a little too long. Because of this, it lost some of it's lower leaves and might be a little stunted. Thanks once again.
