So, you have 2 plants growing off of 1 corm???

I'd split the corm as close to 50-50 as I could...

How many pots do you have? I'd split into 3.. Tony has a pic where he pulls them out of the pot.. on a tarp or something, and does surgery.. I split the ole momma into 3 pieces of pie, but don't cut the roots on the pups.. :^)

Each pup should have its own small corm which is attached to the mother.

Slice it close to to the mother
I just took this pic...I try to keep as much soil with the pup for better results and less shock for my zone.
And just pull the pup from the old stem and plant out.
Or sometimes I will just cut them away from the mother and let them stay in the container till I am ready for them.

I sprinkle some root hormone/funguscide .... Greenlight brand
However it is not necessary, I have also used nothing with the same.

I'd clean off all the dirt so you can see what you're doing and it makes learning easier.

You might even find more pups to separate.
