Hi, all together!

I'm looking now for some new pictures for my book, because my lector told me that I had to reformat my book into the magazine style, so that the count of the pages decreased from 165 to 128 pages, so that I will add about 20 new species and varieties to the 51. I'm improving my book so that I will have one better success for my book, it must be interesting and hot for German banana growers.

I have now gotten many hot pictures for my book from your galleries for my book, but I miss some pics from Ensete perrieri. I want some of this species with copyright permission for my book.

Thanks in advance.

Best wishes
Joachim

I don't think anybody's been able to even germinate one seed from this species, Joachim. If they have, they've been awfully quiet about it! Mine have been in the flat since February with no action yet.

Hi bigdog,

also rarepalmseeds.com offers the seed. I don't know whether anyone in Germany did germinate the seed.

Best wishes

RPS is where I got my seeds. They have been in the flat for four months almost. I have patience though. I would like to know if any of these seed companies have actually germinated them, because don't you have to have tested the seeds you are selling and have a certain percentage germinate? And if they DID get some to germinate, why not show a picture of them on their website? That would at least give those of us who are trying some hope.

ditto here in the UK. been in for a couple of months, no joy yet.

Its about time someone got some of this stuff e.g. M. Ingens and E. Perrieri into TC. there would be a fair sized queue of buyers I think.

No luck so far with germinating. Mine are in 3 different soils since march.

Anyone germinate these seeds, yet?

Ensete glacum was super easy in invitro germination for me, so when I get some more E. perrieri I'll try that. I also just tried 10 M. ingens but they all failed from contamination even after heavy surface sterilization. I could tell that the entire inside of the seed was contaminated with mold somehow, it was rather strange.
