All of my bananas are the types that don't get that tall, I have a 12 foot greenhouse, that never gets below 38F in the winter. Can I cut a Saba down to 12 feet, and chunk it in the greenhouse bareroot?I doubt I will get fruit, but I want at least one tall bananer.

Yes, I stored a 15 foot tall Saba without leaves or roots all winter inside of my garage. The psuedostem will keep it alive, and it doesn't need any water. It also flowered!
