Well got two bee Hives set up a Top Bar Hive and a Langstroth Hive as well as my Swarm Hive. All bated with lemongrass oil and hoping to have a swarm occupy any or all of them:} If not in April going to put some bee's in them...

Here's a few pictures...as always Daisy Mae is doing her job guarding the perimeter here at the Ponderosa. Today she's been assigned to look out for bee's and move away and alert me much like Lassie used to do when Timmy seemed to always be falling in the well or in trouble lol

Peace Bee with U!

Being prepared is wohonderful; you've certainly made a great little nest for wandering honey makers. However, I'm not so sure that "if you build it they will come" applies to bees. Hope it does. Would save you a bunch of money.

Been keeping bees for over thirty years. That barrel hive looks interesting.

But, It would insulation here in zone 7.

Let us know when those new employees arrive.

However; after some suggestions I've rearranged the hives like this.

Folks wanted me to move them to not obstruct flight path???

What does airplanes routes have to do with Bee Keeping? :}
