Hey All,
I just bought a house with multiple banana trees, one with bananas, and wanted to know what to do. How and when should I cut them down, where to cut, what to do after....
If anyone can help, i would be very appreciative:)
It would help if you set up your profile to at least state your zone; that makes it easier for members to address needs. If you're in the north, those are probably ornamentals; if you're in zone 8b and above, they probably aren't.
That didn't sound very welcoming...WELCOME!

Hello, Welcome & Happy Growing.. your USDA growing zone would be helpful.. If you live up North you can cut them if you live in the South I wouldn't w/o further input.. :^)

Expect a little comedy and mess the first couple of times you harvest. Here are some goofy pix: https://picasaweb.google.com/114685571384513740781/Banana?noredirect=1#
