I really didn't know that the size of the banana fingers is only about 10cm,
about the size of Senorita.
But even if the taste is not excellent and is normal, it will be fine.

Some synthetic material. Why would anyone want to use a metal screen bag? This bag is for protecting the skins from bugs. Can't sell naners with blemished skins -- they're rejects!

Yes, it's metal window screen sewn with a Newlong Industrial NP-7a Portable Bag Closer (http://www.newlongnp7a.com/).
Its a single thread chain stitch, so it can be removed in seconds and sewn into different configurations.
It works great at keeping varmints away from the nanners.

Forgot about the critter issues in PR. It's a jungle out there!

Also for me is Veinte Cohol one must for my chácara here in Brazil, but it is prohibited since 2005 to import pups to Brazil. But I do have Dwarf Brazilian here. Dwarf Brazilian is one other name for Pratinha or Prata Ana.
I also have FHIA-18 and Mysore here!
Best wishes

You're not kidding, right? I had always hoped the rumor mill was wrong.
So, what do we have----------
A very short cycle out of hand fruit naner. This offsets the light cold tolerance.
Very dwarf habit.
No noticeable pest or disease susceptibility at first planting in PSL, South FL.
Good tasting fruit. TBD
Terrific - can't wait for my 2 mats to produce this year.
Then you can call me Dan - the 20 snail man!
:woohoonaner: Veinte Cohol is an incredibly delicious fruit.
On a scale with the Musa :waving: Morado being a 10 (best I've tasted)
and Musa :lurk: Namwah being a 0 (worst I've tasted).
I would rank the Musa :drum: Veinte Cohol a 9.
Keith
How would you rate the top 5 AA cultivars, I'm guessing that you tried at least 5 AA if not what would be a top 3 or 4 as for the fastest growth rate, small stature and taste?

Almost the same question for you Dan, what do you consider the top 5 (any genotype) best tasting, small stature, short cycle cultivar you have ever grown?

Hello Basjoofriend! I have a German nephew that lives in Delmenhorst. According to the plant zone map he is in zone 9B. Can that be true? If so, he ought to be able to grow banana plants outdoors! That would be something! I visited in May and didn't see any banana plants there.

I still have 5 pstems on the VC mat. Excellent tasting little naner! People at the TCRF club like the pstem coloration.
