What does anyone use for this? I will be running a 1500watt heater in my HFGH and want to keep it at 55 degrees to keep nanners happy. Or could it stay cooler and keep them happy?

Looked at the thermocube but don't think it will work right.
Thanks.

Most varieties should be fine to the mid-30's so long as there is no frost on the leaves. Will they grow at that temperature no, but they will still be alive and grow a little once it warms back up.

It's the soil temperature that matters. I set my probe to 60F, although in practice the soil drops to about 55F before the warmth reaches the probe.

Hey Richard,
Well they are sitting on a cement slab and pond liner over that. It dropped to 37 here at 4am and greenhouse was 45degrees. With no heat or bubble wrap inside the greenhouse.

I understand what you mean, not worried about growth just want them to stay healthy. At what temp do you feel I could do this? I think the soil will stay warm enough.
