OK, I dug up all my banana trees, brought them into a heated garage, put about 1000 watts of 6500k light over them. The plants seem to be doing ok, but the pups look like a bag of ass........ is this Normal??? Will they come out of it? I have not watered much, but the soil is moist.

Stay the course!
This is normal for our plants.
Pups take it heavy because sunlight and other requirements are not met and they are the first to show the displeasure of being inside....in a few months they will look even worse.
You and I have similar light on our plants..........the light is enough to MAINTAIN them and not GROW them.
The lights should be called maintain lights and not grow lights.:)
Also keep in mind that we have not spent eight hundred dollars to keep fifty bucks worth of plants alive for the winter:08:...... yet.
And I can not stress enough to let your containers dry out a bit before you water them.......My guide is to let the soil pull away from the side of the container a bit, and then water lightly and minimal or no fertilizer is needed.
You can also use an insecticidal soil drench when you water to keep the buggers from hatching and wreaking havoc in a couple of months, I use Bayer Complete insect killer
