Well here we go again...storm is most likley projected to hit somewhere between Gulf Shores, and Destin. Guess I need to take some pics of my yard today as my Thai Giants are as big as I've ever seen (maybe 8 or 10 ft. tall) with the ears so big and heavy that a couple pulled out by the roots after a good rain, and we have 9 bunches of naners. It's been a great growing season here. Probably just a big rain maker but we'll see.

Good luck, lived in the Keys and enjoyed a few hurricanes there and a few here in central Florida. Sure hurts when the winds take more than their share. Stay safe.

Hey Bo ----- our local weather guy said there is a lot of upper level dry air in the gulf now and it's sure to mitigate formation beyond trop storm level. Best of luck. What is Charles doing in P-cola?

Dan...thanks for the info, I think Charles is working at getting everything in order for the Gulf Coast get-together. I try and keep in touch with him when I'm home. By the way, that PK has a small pup now.

Bo - Looks like TS Karen will weaken or at least not build to a Hurricane but we will probably get plenty of rain and tropical winds all along the Gulf Coast from NOLA to P'cola. We will know for sure by this weekend. Nana meet is next weekend so that should be a go -:0519: hope everyone's nanas and plants fair well. :nanadrink:
FYI: The D namah pup is doing well - I've got 8 bunches hanging was hoping to leave them until 1st frost.
