We're growing these in the campus garden. The seeds were originally brought here from Cyprus. I obtained them from my grandfather, who has been growing them for years. They are MASSIVE. And its creeping vines have taken over a decent chunk of our half-acre plot.

This one is so big I couldn't even fit it all in the frame:

And this one is stuck in the chain link fence but STILL growing:

Unfortunately, I'm probably not going to get viable seed from it because they have probably crossed with the many other squash varieties we are growing. Still an amazing sight though! I have seen the fruits get to be over four feet long.
