Hello guys,
Earlier this summer I had posted about leaf problems with my Goldfinger and have since repotted to a nice sized plastic pot to get it out of its old soggy fabric pot. Those leaf problems have thankfully cleared up. Thanks to everyone who helped! While I was out of town for a week about a month and a half ago, the automatic watering system I had it on gave it WAY too much water. When I got back, there was standing water all the way to the top of the pot and it smelled like a pond. Ever since then I've been letting the pot dry out almost completely in between waterings, but the oldest leaves have developed these dead places, all of which started while it was underwater. I'm not sure what flood damage looks like on a banana, so any help would be really appreciated. Newest leaves look good and healthy. Also, whenever the plant is stressed, it's leaf spacing gets really tight. Thanks!

The damage doesn't look that bad on the older leaves.

If it's still throwing up new cigars I say let it be.

So long as the spots don't appear on the new leaves, I think you have fixed the problem.
