I have no idea what they are but I have about 32 of them and no one wants mystery bananas so please help. I planted one in the ground so I can see it fruit, I'm sure that will help identifying it. I think I have two types, one has darker leaves. Pups are all over the place.
his is one variety;

this pup had some red patches on the leaves

Some of them look different from the others. The one with the red splotches on the pups looks like it could be Mysore. The second one looks like maybe Raja Puri or Dwarf Brazilian. Just some wild guesses, we can't tell until they bloom.

Yeah it's been about 8 months and none have flowered. Could either one be ice cream?

None of them look like Ice Cream to me.

The second verity has flowered!
Here are some pictures. I think I know what it is but want more opinions. Not sure if the fruit will make it developing at this time of year. Also need tips on harvesting.

First one, probably Rajapuri. Second one, a namwah. Height will dictate which namwah variety.

interesting, the second one was sold to them as an ice cream banana

Most of the time, what is sold as Ice Cream is a Namwah variety, in the US, at least. You can find lots of threads about that on the org.

That is what happened to me when I bought from Florida Hill Nursery. I was going to get rid of it but I figured I would wait to see how they taste.

Your pictures from your first pic look a lot like my Brazilian but that one has been a slow grower and has yet to fruit.

UPDATE:

Regarding the difference between Namwah and Ice Cream ...

I actually thought it was a dwarf Brazilian banana. It took nearly 3 years to flower and rarely pups. Thanks for the pics, I hope I can get a real ice cream soon.

If you are talking about the first one you showed a picture of, which I said might be Rajapuri, Dwarf Brazilian is a good guess and a real possibility. Those two are very similar. Rajapuri tends to be a bit shorter, has a bigger bud when first blooming, and the fingers are less tightly packed.
