Longwoods Tropicals

Another summer has almost past and thoughts of digging up most every thing except the Basjoos are already creeping into my head.
Anyway I thought I should show how things looked back there this year. Next year it will be much less cluttered with only the Basjoos and Cannas. The Cavendish recovered after a late may freeze up to about two feet after most of them had to be cut back near the ground. The only one which emerged unscathed was the lone seed to germinate from my banana Tree order. It was a Musa Zebrina-which I didn't order but was listed as musa Acuminata-it has grown to about four feet or so, just about the largest size I would think of trying to overwinter indoors.

Well I hope there are some images posted as the preview function seems to indicate a fail, if not I'll try again some time.
Regards
Harold
