Sorry y'all, I know my posts are somewhat infrequent but I'm after an opinion on this Basjoo. It's been in the ground unprotected for about 7 years and has seen temps as low as -19C yet has never gotten over 4ft tall, is this a virus showing in the leaves do you think? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=517178668352843&set=a.358144960922882.78733.357197794350932&type=1&theater

Any deformity in the leaves?

No deformity unless I over feed lol, this is pretty much the first year I've been able to get a decent picture as the leaves burn so quick.

I see your FB post 70 pups in one year. I have no idea whats going on. If you haven't tried already I would get a pup put it in a pot with new potting soil and seed what happens.

If it's healthy and the pups look the same and are healthy it could be a sport. Not likely but not unheard of.

Is there a way to test it?
