I have a plant in the ground that is flowering and trying to make fruit, but I have a concern. Its pups have grown to be much larger than the fruiting plant, so it is now in heavy shade. In order for the fruit to grow and fully mature, do I need to separate the much larger pups to provide more light, or remove overhanging leaves, or will the plants all share nutrients through the root system?

I have waited quite a few years for fruit, and want to make sure that it is successful. Thanks for your input! Zone 7B, Dwarf Cavendish.

Everything will be fine. The parent plant will take nutrients from the corm, which is shared with the other plants.
