Hello folks

Just noticed one of my unidentified Banana Varieties has produced a RED pup
Can someone be so kind as to tell me WAZ UP and what kind of nanna this may be?

I'm no expert but that red looks like the normal red found on young pups such as Namwah ?

Lots of varieties put up pups that are initially red, but later look like the parent plant. Based on the mother plant, it's an ABB genome banana, maybe Orinoco or "Namwah".

I'd say Namwah is good, I like them so far. (never tried fruit yet) :)

I don't remember seeing any red on my Orinoco pups. I'll snap a picture in a few to see if you can narrow it down.
