Well,,got advise from several concerning the black spots that were destroying the leaves on two plants. Cut infected leaves and treated for fungus and appears all is well. Fingers crossed.

and after following the fungus treatment and cutting infected leaves advise. Thanks to all who helped me with this problem.
The plant in pot is one of those that had the problem, the other is the smaller in the background that is in bed behind larger.

i am new to this site and trying to grow bananas , my mother plant died and the pups are starting to get black spots like your photo, what kind of fungicide did you use? all help is appreciated, thanks ,bakermike

I was told to cut leaves with these spots off plant. The product I purchased was a brand at local nursary and instructions said to cover both top and underside of each leaf once a week I only used two applications.
