Hi guys

Picked up a lovely Musa Siam Ruby today from B&M (UK shop) for the princely sum of £4.99.

It's in a 2 litre pot and about 1' tall.

I want to keep it in a container as I have a small rented house and bring it in in the winter.

Question is pot size.

I have some nice stainless steel containers about 12" wide by 12" tall. Problem being that they have a lip meaning that once it's in it's in and hard to remove without damaging roots.

Is this going to be big enough going forward or should I go for a bigger size?

Thanks in advance.

Matt

Matt...mine is always pupping....I have mine in a 2 gallon pot and is about 4 feet tall. It is outside for the summer, which it seems to like...grows continuously...likes water

Cool. 2 gallons is about 10 litres.

10 litre standard pot is approx:

Top Diameter: 28.5cm
Bottom Diameter: 22cm
Depth: 23cm

So should be fine.

Brilliant, thanks for your help :)
