I walked outside to throw out some old bread. Lo and behold, I noticed a flag leaf starting to appear. It's kind of funny that I walk by this banana every time I enter and exit my house but never noticed the short pre-flag and flag leaves. I found this plant's corm in a garbage heap on the side of the road about 1.5 years ago. Now I will finally get to find out what type of banana plant it is.

Amantedelenguaje,
Please keep us posted on this plant's fruit development. Based on your pics it has a delicate psuedostem like an AA diploid acuminata; but its droopy leaves say something else.
A follow-up post would be a good idea. You find all sorts of curious things banana-wise in garbage heaps - well, I do!

This is an update of my mystery nanner. I only have one hand of female fruit. Two bracts had nothing underneath. I attribute the poor yield to several factors: I moved the banana when it was trying to make fruit; I chopped the banana in half when it was probably trying to make fruit; Winter came when the banana was probably trying to make fruit. Oh well, nothing's perfect. Any idea what kind of nanner it is?
