I bought this banana as Fhia 18 and I like to know if it is indeed Fhia 18.

Pat, many are hard to id without a lot of info. Try wiki and google to see if you can speed up the id. Maybe a knowledgable member will help. Good luck and good growing.

It will be fairly easy to tell after is flowers and fruits, Flowers of the FHIA types are fairly distinctive.

You can separate FHIA-1 from FHIA-18 fairly easily by the pink on the petiole margin. I don't know about the other dwarf brazillians.
