So I have the most wonderful husband in the world...he is always thinking of ways to make me smile.

Today we were out side looking at the banana flowers. We noticed that the Anoles and hummingbirds love the dripping flower juice. In quite a few parts of the world the flower is consumed.

We are harvesting about 4 pounds of fresh figs off of our Turkey fig tree.

So this is what he came up with for my enjoyment:

It is a fig with its stem, cut front and back to expose the ruby red inside. The stem is pushed through(we have a million cherry tomatoes) a cherry tomato. Then the male flower is threaded through as well.:sumbrero:

The somewhat cheesy whole effect...:ha:

Creative! Looks nice. I guess he is a keeper.
So what is the drink it garnishes?
