hello all i am Thaibanana

In about two weeks i am putting in 60-70 banana plants of three different types for a small sales plan.

i have been composting carbonized rice husks, cow manure.untreated rice husks. and rice straw and all my 3 ares of yard waste for 6 months now. It breaks down pretty quick

any thoughts on something i have missed.

I have also added 25 gallons of EM to my compost pile at the start.

I will be mixing this into the soil i have as it is quite sandy to about the 2-3 ft level.

any advice will be more than appreciated

much the same as here, sitting on 150 foot of sand and the soil drains fast. We have been adding composted cattle manure and other naturally compost material and after 5 years the soil is finally growing good plants. We also just do organic fertilizing, adding in micronutrients as well. Stay at it and it will pay off. Also add molasses to the compost tea to sweeten it for the microrhizal fungi too grow faster and help the plant roots absorb the nutrients easier. Good growing and get those hands dirty.

No, I'm in Nebraska. I have been to Thailand several times, but never stopped in Roi Et. I don't know much about Roi Et, but I think it's a pretty common talked about province. I think there are plenty of foreigners living there.
