I have a Dwarf Cavendish banana in a container, it had a pup when I bought it however, the pup is growing on an angle off the corm, instead of a few inches in any direction from the corm. My question is should I separate and re pot the pup? Should I leave it attached? Or toss it out? Any advice would be awesome!
Thank you everyone!

Let it grow... They all grow from the corm, just in different places from the corm...

It appears that the pup is still to small to separate .
You could wait till it is more established and larger 3x perhaps.
Give a chance for to pup to grow some roots .... My guess 30 -60 days
Do not rush it or you will trash your pup.
Good purchase at 2 for 1:08:

That's what I was thinking. Why anyone would toss a banana plant. But anyway, wherever it come from, - Just wait until it is tall enough to remove and repot or you could keep it in if the pot they both share is big enough for the both of them.

Ive never seen a pup come out on an angle from the corm, I didn't know it would be able to survive after I seperated it. However, thank you for the advice.

Toss it out...
If you want a Cavendish get a Williams.
