Wow. Never seen one of these before. I just bought a gang of hardy cacti at a garden show this spring. All are hard to zone 5 or lower! Anyone have experience with the hardyness of these guys? If anyones got lots of pads to sell, let me know also please!

How hardy are those? If they are as hardy as the regular prickly pear cactus, my parents will probably be interested in growing some (as they already have some of the regular kind).

Never heard of these before, and I know this post isn't helping in the search, - But I gotta say those are beautiful, and I'm going to recommend them to my cacti-lovin/growin friend. :) (when I find some online)

Thanks for the info, Tony. Hardy to 10 degrees....that's a definite 'no' then. It could have been hardy to negative ten and it would still be a no LOL.

I got 1 piece of this a few months ago and it is workin it's magic with new growth. They are pretty, I don't think this will come true from seed since I think it is a Monrovia hybrid.
