I am new to this board and would like to know where is a reputable place to buy banana pups/offshoots/whatever? A place that offers prices along with the types available. Thank you.

A lot depends on what you are looking for, and where you are at. Some varieties I have, and some I don't. $25 plus shipping for a large a plant as I have that I can get into a 36" box.

Try "Going Bananas" in Homestead, FL.
Good variety, he ships too.

I tried sending an email to the contact on the Encanto Farms website but I don't have outlook set up. I am interested in the dwarf Gros Michel Coco. I looked thru the source code and found the email link. Sent you an email thru gmail.

I am in contact with Encanto farms right now. Jon has been helpful and am now in the process of making a selection.

You don't need Outlook to email them. Your browser is just set to open Outlook when clicking emails to compose from. You actually can change those settings so it always opens Gmail instead.
Encanto Farms, Going Bananas, Wellspring Gardens, and Florida Hill Nursery are some I know of however the latter two are very cheap but at the same time don't offer the best quality, always sell smaller ones, and often mix up their varieties. The first two are more expensive but worth it. Huge selection, correct labeling, and great big plants in great condition.
Then of course there's also members online here. :) I got my last two bananas from members on this forum by asking in the wanted section. I was very satisfied with both, and am currently waiting to receive a third nanner from a third person on this forum. Because truth is, some banana varieties you just can't find at any nursery.
