I have been growing a Mona Lisa variety. Two years prior, same plant was in the ground and then dug up in a pot and last summer in the ground, grew to about 6 feet and over wintered in the garage with my Namwah and planted it again outside this spring. I live in Dallas Texas and last year I got both Dwarf Namwah fruit on 3 trees and also a Dwarf Orinoco fruit.- Definitely prefer the Namwah!.
My Mona Lisa just seem like a slow grower. This year I planted it in much better soil partial sun so it gets some shade during the mid day hours and the Namwah I had in the same location last year liked it and flowered no problem.
It doesn't pup very much either, I think I had one but mislabeled it so now it is gone. No more pups yet.

Hence i am curious if anyone has any tips for the Mona Lisa and what your experience is when it comes to fruit and such.

Thanks

I have one, but it's been very slow. I've had it for over two years, but it's still small, only maybe 4' p-stem. It's not in a great spot, but the bananas right around it have been growing much faster. I think my cool climate isn't ideal for it. But I haven't given up on it yet. Seems to be picking up speed in growth. Nice looking plant.
