Hi & welcome !

What you describe here happens when banana are repoted/planted, i think this is normal.

Maybe a picture could help other members to "see" if i am right

Have some patience.

As others have said photos help a lot in helping you.

Bananas are not trees and you can not expect them to respond like you expect trees to respond.

Knowing where you are and what zone you are in gives a clearer picture of what you might be facing.

In the end it might be necessary to cut the plant severely and let it get a fresh start.

Yes, it takes some time to re-establish and should be gradually introduced to full sunlight. Start it in the shade and introduce it to a little more sun every few days. After a week or two it should be able to handle full sun. The first thing most people think is that it needs more water - if the soil is moist an inch or two below the surface, don't give it more water.

Most bananas in pots with have drooping leaves during the heat of the day, even after they're established. Then in the evening, the leaves perk up again.

Even if you burn a few leaves in the sun, the plant will adjust itself.
