Apparently is has a good reputation on eBay but not here? Anyway, look at the following email that I sent them because of price discrepancy on their eBay website and their regular website. My email is first and their curt response is above that. Please read. What gives?

Dear floridahillnurserycom,

I am very interested in buying banana plants from you but have some concerns. On your official website at floridahillnursery.com you have Musa Velutina for $7.99 and Sumatrana X for $7.99 also. Yet on your eBay page, you have Velutina for $6.99 and Sumatrana X for $9.99. I'm confused.

Personally I've had great experience with them, aside of course from the fact that like most others their Ice Creams aren't real and that they do indeed have small TC plants. But, many nurseries do. The lower price is probably some limited offer deal, sometimes even Wellspring does that on eBay. Not sure on the higher one.

OK yeah it was just strange but one price was lower on eBay and another was higher! Yet their reply told me they didn't even want to give me a quick reply in explanation.

I don't know anything about this company, but I do know from experience that it's very common for companies and individuals selling all manner of things to operate price differentiation on Ebay. Sometimes it's to your advantage, sometimes not.

Hmm yeah it's just strange as they were selling Sumatrana X for $9.99 on their eBay site and for $2 less on their regular page. And something tells me that the size of the plant has nothing to do with it.
I probably will make one order with just to try. Thanks!

I'm gonna take a stab at this and say there may be a difference in shipping prices for whatever reason between the sites, and Ebay does charge to sell things so maybe they jack up some random plants to make up for that cost. (IDK, just a thought.) I imagine the bottom line is to make money one way or another.

I'm an Ex-Ebay Powerseller. It is very strictly prohibited from talking about outside ebay business through Ebay. You should go to their website and contact them through there.
