http:/ [url=http://www.bananas.org/gallery/showI have a dwarf Cavendish, twinning variant, that has started producing multiple flower heads below the bunch. Some of the flower heads are solid fleshy masses. This type sure is unstable, fascinating.

Must be TC malformation of some kind. Happends often on D. Mahoi.

If i see that growing on one of my bananas . i will shop the whole thing down & start all over ..

Wow....I've seen some pictures of very strange flower mutations and such but nothing quite like that! Very cool/interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome. You might eventually want to cut it off though. Either that or prop up the plant really well.
