Just arrived! I'm not holding him sideways... the picture turned for some unknown reason. I'm going to put him in a pot so he can go inside if the weather turns cool.
Any recommendation on larger pot to grow into, or smaller pot(for reasons I can't think of?)?

I Potted My GM Banana in a slight bigger pot with new potting soil.
I will keep those inside near my kitchen window untill they get about 2 feet or so.
The Weather in NE Florida still a lil nippy for a TC plant that size.
Good Luck !

Exactly why I want him in a pot, thanks! I'll pick up a new pot tomorrow, since I need to get vermiculite anyway.
If knitting him a banana sweater would help, I'd do it.

Well early this morning we had a unexpected hard frost. Even though I've been compulsively checking the weather reports every evening just in case, I missed the fact that it was getting that cold last night.
Poor Zeke. Any opinions on whether he has a chance of making it? I feel horrible. The ice cream that was sitting next to him looks fine, as does the Cavandish from Walmart. Sigh.
