I saw one on ebay , but I'm not sure I want to take risk of it not being the real thing. Anyone expect to have a pup for sale over the next few months ?
My Banana ID skills are pretty low so I think pups from experts are the way to go.:2121:

"Burmese blue", aka. "Musa Itinerans var. guangdongensis" (did I get that right??) is also pretty easy from seed.

Thanks Erlend , I have a few seeds on order at the moment , I'll see how I do with them . I'm not very good with seeds but I'm going to take your advise and order by the hundred in future and see if this helps. I looked at the Trebrown site and the prices are much better than rarepalmseeds so I guess I'll go with Trebrown in the future. Is there a time of year when places like Trebrown get in fresh seed ? I'll email Trebrown and perhaps they can put me on a list to be informed when fresh seed comes in. I guess I'll setup a MH lamp or two for the Winter and hope to have a huge crop of new Musa for next Spring. The place we are renting at the moment has a very shady backyard so not much good for growing musa and the front yard with Sun has a little too much wind. I think we will move next year to find a better garden.
Thanks again for the info
