The plant in the back is the ice cream, the other is a manzano. Hawaii has been belted with heavy winds these last few weeks, so my leaves are shreaded.

Seems that way, but I took out about a dozen pups in the past few months. Yanked all but two pups in December, and it put out two more since. Can't believe how vigorous these are.

How soon after the bananas emerge should the blue tint be apparent?

Not sure. This is my first go with it. Cheson would know. We got our plants from the same place and he has a bunch. Cheson?

Within the first few weeks. Probably even a bit sooner.

The next hand opened and it looks like they are male. So I have seven hands with about 12-14 on each hand, which makes it about 90 or so bananas. Praying that all goes well. Aloha.
