This plant hasn't grown very much this winter the p-stem isn't coming out like the picture below. is it rot? how should I fix this so it grows like the others?

Few pups that I planted.............I had to decapitated it..............and their apparence is exactly the same of your plant.................

Itīs better to start to remove the rotten material.................day after day...........you remove the brown parts...............

Then the plant emerges.................

Do not force it...............just remove the dead parts..............with a sharp blade..............

Start with the outer material...............

better to loose a little more now thay whole later..cant hurt to chop further..will just have to wait a little longer..good luck to ya

My experience with rot and cali golds, cut down until you see green and no brownish-grey mush if its in the middle leaf chances are its affected the corm already. Good luck!
