1/2 DC corm and 1/2 orinoco corm..sorry no pics.. but they have fused together tightly..corm from both cleaned scraped and cut in half..bound together with grafting tape..started 2 months ago[all done inside with heat and humidity]waited for new growth on both...dug up last week, new roots on both sides and corms have joined, fused together...re scraped and cleaned now just waiting for new growth in margin..i figure any growth on either side would be same as..hoping growth from margin where corms have joined might be at least something different..worth the try and you never know.will keep info coming..any one eles ever tried grafting nanners??:woohoonaner:

Interesting, not convinced it will work for bananas though.

Creating a hybrid by this means is not possible. Zero probability. The most you could accomplish by this means is growing both varieties closely together.

Yeah, so you get different plants growing closely. Need a little dig corms, clean place and spread his vaccinations (location shots) cytokinin paste. All the germs that appear elsewhere should be removed. Sprouts from the site of inoculation, if any, may be chimeric.

Is it possible to graft Mango to Avacado ?
If so would it bear both fruits & what would be the best graft & where should it be done ?
