Can anyone tell what is happening here? Lack off light?
The leaves are blooming quickly, but very small.

is it a musella ? [kind of flowering ?]

I think it is. Atleast that's what I was told on here I bought a bunch of them a few months ago and this is the biggest one.

It def looks like a musella lasiocarpa, maybe it is getting ready to flower?? Do they first send out a a small leaf like the flag leaves on musas before flowering?

PS Hello H2O, I know Maubeuge well, I used to live in Strasbourg and have many friends in Northern France and Belgium....
looks like it's flowering, like this one :
Joe, the leaves get progressively smaller, and you will know when the flower is ready to push through. The leaves tend to "flatten" out to horizontal also. Here's what mine looked like right before it flowered:
