I just dug up two pups from my old house and brought them up to my current residence. I think the mother plant was a dwarf Brasilian, but I'm not 100% sure. What are some identifying characteristics that I can look for...actually, right now that would have to be leaf color. Is there a leaf shape difference? How about stem color. I'll try to post some photos tomorrow if it's a sunny day.
Also, since I just dug these up...should I wait a day or two before planting them, to let the corms harden up a bit. One pup is about 2 feet high, the other 4-5 feet. Both have roots dangling and I cut into the mother corm as much as I could. Right now I have the smaller one soaking in a bucket of water with Vit. B1. The larger plant is in a shady area with the corm/roots covered with a piece of plastic.
