So with the recent killings here in the US and the stabbings in China, I'm going to do at least one random act of kindness for every one of them. Maybe it can spread and become viral. Please join me.

If you really want to do something about that, get rid of that outdated constitutionally enshrined
'right to bear arms'. That was good 200 years ago, has led to a gun culture and gun worship, which is
unequalled in the civilized world and led to the US having by far the highest gun related murder rate of
all comparable nations.
But that will not happen regardless how many innocent children become the victims of such maniacs.
The right wing in the House and elsewhere won't permit it
I ask all, what does a teacher need 5 (five) firearms for??? You can lay at least half of all US gun
homicides squarely at the feet of the NRA and their swaggering supporters.
Sorry to get political in this board, the death of these little kids makes my feelings hard to control.
I hope, that, if there is any response to this post, it will be by PM.

We can talk in pm or email about this if you want Olaf. It's a very sensitive subject for a lot of people right now.

A kind deed done for your fellow person is surely a good approach - It would take someone with very thick skin to ignore this event. Maybe we will learn more after a full investigation. My prayers are with the victims and survivors
So, Cinc - what did you get at Harbor frieght?

I don't want to get into a political debate, but you cannot ban the personal actions of the ones who choose to commit these terrible acts. The people who commits these acts will use whatever tool they can get their hands on, whether it be a gun, a knife, or chain saw. Banning a firearm does not prevent the stabbing of the children in China and banning the knife would not either as the evil human being would have chose whatever tool/weapon that was available.
To also mention, this shooting and the Aurora shooting happened in gun free zones, these terrible people knew that no one could protect themselves. A feel good law banning the tool will not stop these people from killing their next innocent victim. If you believe making firearms illegal will solve the probelm, then you should also believe that no one does cocaine anymore because it is illegal to do so.
Want to know what has not been reported, an armed man stopped further killings by the Oregon mall shooter. Oregon Mall Shooting Stopped By Licensed Gun Carrier - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dsV6TCwd0o&feature=youtu.be) How could this have not been reported nationally unless the media has an agenda?
Or a 12 year-old girl protected herself from an intruder:
