Have a guy wanting to buy some coral off me and wants to trade me a 2002 Lonza Plata Pura silver 1oz .999 coin. What would this be worth to cash in at a jewelry store? Local place here is pretty good. But won't tell you over the phone. Looked online and didn't find a good answer.

Less than it's worth. You're better off selling it yourself. Do you have a coin shop nearby?

I doubt it.. The jewelry store here gives out really good deal on good and silver. We traded some small stuff in and were suprised with what we go. Guess I could try them. Thanks
A jewelry shop would pay (usually) less than spot price, so if you made it to $30, you'd be lucky.
Go with ebay!
One of our customers paid in gold dust last week. ;) :nanadrink:

A good place will pay you 10% under spot. Places like Cash for gold will pay you about 10% of its spot value. A local guy offered me 14$ for 1oz silver coin .999 pure, where APMEX offered like 29$.
