My large ice cream, apple and goldfinger here in Ga zone 8b have really slowed down in growth with 60 degree days and 40's at night. I want to get them protected for winter but to do that I need to cutoff the leaves.
Is it okay to go ahead and cut the leaves off?
They have survived a light frost but I don't want to wait until it is freezing cold outside to get them setup for the winter.
