Unknown banana 3-4 weeks. I found this one laying in the green waste pile by our garden co-op. Planted it 9 months ago and it just bloomed.

even though I keep hearing ice creams don't taste so wonderful the blue fruit keeps me interested and I must have one

When I first took over the plot, the area was covered with California grass and the soil was compacted clay. About 5 truck loads of horse, zoo and cow compost later, these Nanners are much happier.

I like your 'nanners, but I wish the Blue Java was more inside your fence to reduce the temptation to passers-by.

I raised most of the fence but haven't gotten to that section yet. It's on the to do list. Bought a MySore this weekend and planted it by the ice cream.

Where did you get your Mysore from? Koolau? I bought one a month ago. Weird looking leaves.
