KY...(hehee)...
no offence, but you put up a very bent member to the club...and it bent to the left... maybe I've been in Mexico too long..down here when our bannanas have bent problems the locals equate it to problems in the bedroom... |

That is completely normal, the pseudostem just happened to be cut where that petiole canal would have normally bent so the leaf could lay flat.

it's a d.namwah. we cut the rot off almost a week ago and it's now starting to grow. we keep the wetness dabbed up so that it doesnt cause anymore rot. it's no longer soggy and squishy, also the center growth has went up about 1/8" today. so that's a plus. it has the same soil content as the cali-gold and gets watered the same amount.

I assume that it's perfectly fine to let the watery/sap stuff sit and do whatever it usually does on the plant, correct? OR should I dab it off once a while? It's just puddling up on the leaf and dripping at times. Good growth though. Took this picture about 30 minutes ago.

Transpiration - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Just plants being plants. Mine do it pretty often as well. When I was in grad school, I'd occasionally get 'rain' on me when I was sleeping LOL.

Here is a photo that I took about 15 - 20 minutes ago. The Caligold and D.Namwah are doing amazing. We are very stoked that we trimmed off the rot on the d.namwah a week ago because the growth on it has increased tremendously. The caligold.....well you see what it's doing. It's going to be taking over the room before spring LOL
