View Full Version : Narrowed down the thread problem - can't open threads I've posted in

Sorry to start another thread, but it was necessitated by the nature of the problem.
Apparently what's going on is that I can't open any threads in which I've posted. I can open any other thread just fine, but if I've posted in it, then all I get is a white screen if I try to open it. (So, for example, I can't open the thread I started earlier about this topic.) I checked the last 6 threads in which I've posted, and I can't open any of them (but can open all other threads), so it seems that this is almost certainly the problem.
Since I won't be able to view this thread (and hence can't see anybody's comments or advice), will a mod please pm me with advice? Thanks.

Hey, I finally was able to open this thread! Tried about a dozen times. No idea why the 13th time worked.
Anyway, a further update: now I can no longer open up any threads that were recently created (over the last day or so?), regardless of whether I've posted in them or not.
For example, I can't open up the new threads entitled "forum problems" and "Bananas in Zadar" but I can open up older threads like "My Tall Orinoco!"
The plot thickens...

I've been having the same problems, but it appears to be on random threads.

I'm guessing that I think the issue should now be mostly moderately resolved.

When folks see spam, they click the yellow alert button to let moderators know. If you run into a problem like this you can do the same or send a PM. Tony let me know about this problem this morning and I saw it wasn't anything I could do anything about so I emailed Jarred and he got it fixed.

I don't know if its bananarific, since I just ran into a hiccup.. but at least I could work around it. :^)
