Yo Nanner Group: Now I feel bad, after reading so many negative comments on SeedRack (Watcom Seed), of Eugene Oregon. BTW "SunFish" Thanks for the info! I would suggest that any nanner customer, give them a landline or email "Prior" to placing a new order, and visit with the owner, Fredrick. He seemed to me to be a straight up fellow!

Don't be afraid to do your due diligence, ask them about the negative comments, you have just read...and if they cleaned the problems or what. Then use your own judgement. Also be aware that a supplier is caught in the middle, if his supplier get's mislabeled or old seeds from the country of origin. In other words, plenty of human error is possible! I have had this happen to me too! Suggestion find out about how they handle problems before you order...then do a small test order, to be sure you are satisfied the the level of service and the quality of the product you purchased!

Stay Safe,Tom

Seeds are a funny thing. The person writing the post that's negative may not have any patience and some seeds take a while to germinate.
I know the second post for seeds for Rare fruits seeds. I ordered from them and all the ones I got germinated well, but none were banana's. :^)

I have to say that the seeds I bought from them were duds aswell, but I think some of the feedback was a bit harsh - reporting to the FBI - labelled as fraud - come on! Most of the feedback seems mostly to do with chilli seeds too.

A lot of company's and suppliers just don't know how to store seeds.

I got some palm seeds from them that did germinate but I was a novice and killed them. I wonder if Anti's Alexander Palm seeds did well? They were from the Seedrack. :^)

Thinking I'm gonna stay away from watcom (seedrack), there are more companies out there who want to have the business...don't want to throw money in the wind ya know.

I did get my EV from there and got one to come up after trimming the casing like I told you previously. Oh btw Ante only got one Alexander Palm to pop and its going on 2 years now.. but he's not out of the woods till after winter if it survives. :^)

I got some EG from James on a trade, so far out of the 18 I planted I have 11 up as of this morning...so I am stoked :woohoonaner: These are going along my property line, but I was wanting to try and mix them with other Ensete types...for the drama of it all...LOL

I had planted a ton of Velutina got 90% germination on those (didn't expect that!!) so I have 55 of them or some thing (Yikes) finally got those transplanted into 1 gallon pots, need to trade those out in a few weeks.
I have a helen hybrid I got in a trade a while back, hoping this will bloom for me next year.

I went looking to B & T world seed to see what they had to offer...WOW they are expensive, not to mention they don't even have listed under "MUSA" Ingens, not just for sale, they list a bunch of stuff under the species name and then you have to sift threw it to see if it is actually available...they don't even mention Ingens I thought that was so ODD?

I was just hoping some one had some Ensete that they had recouped from a successful bloom and fruit is all.

Ok, some new threads I want to catch up on, gotta go :03:
